We did the famous 3 day self guided canoe trip and it was just awesome. Especially on the first two days there is heaps of exciting stuff to do along the river. Macca is a top bloke, very friendly, honest, knowledgeable and passionate about his business.The last day is pretty long, exhausting & uninspiring, so I'd probably recommend doing a two day trip or getting picked up somewhere in Kununurra once you get there.
we did the 3 days canoeing trip from ord river dam back to kununurra and we had a great time. awesome scenery and bush camps are clean and shady. don't be scared when Maca (don't know if its spelled correct) talks about the faster sections-they are fun and easily doable!! :) i can highly recommend doing a canoeing trip, but if you are a beginner, i would do the 2 days trip or the pick up from zebra rock gallery because the last bit is totally exposed to the sun and quite exhausting.Have fun!
